The Metropolitan Area Youth Symphony offers four string ensembles, spanning beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. The groups rehearse weekly at Trinity Preparatory School on Sundays from August to May, with regular concerts throughout Central Florida.

- Intermezzo – intermediate level ensemble for growing musicians Intermezzo is meeting virtually for the time being.
- Repertory – intermediate/ advanced group for developing players Repertory is meeting in-person.
- Symphony – advanced level ensemble for highly skilled musicians Symphony is meeting in-person.
- Virtual Option – students at all levels have the option to meet virtually in chamber groups
