The Symphony is the MAYS’ most advanced string orchestra ensemble. This top-level group rehearses and performs a vast array of repertoire, and is continually challenged to reach for the finest in orchestral performance. Being a member of the Symphony indicates a high level of technique and musicianship, and this group focuses on understanding the depth and nuances of music, like color, tonal quality, and interpretation.
